Classic Entry for Pre-TT Races at Billown

With three-weeks before entries close for the Blackford Financial Services Pre-TT Classic Road Races, 138 entries have so far been received for the six solo plus Sidecar races being held on Saturday and Sunday 30th & 31st May, with practice and qualifying on the Friday 29th and Saturday prior to racing.

Long time rivals Bill Swallow, Alan Oversby and Roy Richardson, with 36 wins between them return, hoping they can add to their impressive number of race wins so far. In total they are entered in ten races.

Jamie Coward will also be competing in a total of six races on his return to racing after missing most of last season through injury. The Yorkshireman will be riding the 750cc Mistral Kawasaki, which was ridden to victory in 2014 by Dean Harrison in the Superbike race.

Scot Ewan Hamilton will be endeavouring to bring his 250cc Suzuki home ahead of the remainder of the field in the quarter-litre race which has so far provided him with three race victories at Billown, plus a further win in the Post Classic in 2009. He has added a 500 Matchless to his stable this year.

Winning Sidecar driver Eddy Wright with three wins to his name has a new passenger this year Kieran Clark in the chair, is amongst 16 crews entered so far, who will be also aiming to add the Camathias Cup, now in its third year to his trophy haul having finished in 2014.

Sidecar crews from The Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium and France join the line-up of drivers and passengers from the UK and the Isle of Man
