Dunlop & Farquhar Confirm Olivers Mount Entries

The popular Northern Ireland duo will race at the North Yorkshire venue commencing with the Ian Watson Spring Cup on Sunday 15th April, followed by the two day Cock O’the North Races on Saturday and Sunday 21st & 22nd July and finally at the ‘blue-riband’ event, the Steve Henshaw International Gold Cup Races over the weekend of 15th & 16th September.

Ryan Farquhar currently holds all three of the trophies for the feature races at the road races and will once again campaign his KMR Kawasaki machines as he attempts to retain the coveted silverware.

Michael Dunlop will debut his new stable of machines having only just finalised his 2012 team and equipment after a winter of much speculation. This has resulted in his intended Sidecar plans having had to be put on hold with all his resources being concentrated on his solo efforts.

The Ian Watson Spring Cup is also the opening round of the Duke Road Race Rankings Series for 2012, with Ryan Farquhar the current title holder hoping to leave ‘The Mount’ on Sunday evening heading the rankings once again.

Admission for the Ian Watson Spring Cup is £20.00, with camping available at £10.00 per pitch per night for a tent/caravan or £15.00 for motor homes.

The action commences with Practice at 9.00am, followed by Qualifying at 10.15am, with the first race starting at 12.30pm.

Advance booking is available for both the Cock O’the North and the Steve Henshaw International Gold Cup via the official website:
