As is well known on the Island, Mylchreests have been supplying course cars, for use at the MGP continually since 1948!

Over the years many interesting and varied cars have been used for the purpose of Course Inspection and Roads Open, mostly supplied in conjunction with the current and past car manufacturer partners of Mylchreests who are the Island’s Main Dealer for Jaguar, Land
Rover and Volvo.

David Mylchreest, Managing Director of Mylchreests said: “We are delighted to be supporting the Manx Grand Prix again this year, in what will be the 60th Anniversary of our support of these races”.

It is also announced that Mylchreests will be displaying a representative range of interesting “heritage” Roads Open cars in their Showrooms at Millmount, New Castletown Road, Douglas during the Manx Grand Prix period. Further details will be announced in due course.

Bill Bennett, Chairman of the Manx Motor Cycle Club added: “The Manx Motor Cycle Club are very pleased to thank Mylchreests for their continued Sponsorship of our Races. We understand the costs involved on their part, and their support of what is still an amateur event”.
