The bike will be ran by the Derbyshire based Pro Superbike team, and it will be the second time the exotic machine will have been used at the Isle of Man. John Richards rode the machine at last years Manx Grand Prix in the Senior race finishing in eight place. Heath's R1 has been sold to ex British 125cc Champion, Chris Palmer, and his plans for the rest of the season are currently unclear. For the TT, he also hopes to make his debut in the Lightweight class, but is yet to secure machinery.
