Local TT rider John Crellin, is planning to climb Mount McKinlay in Alaska this June, after competing in the 2001 TT.

The expedition is part of John's attempt to climb the worlds seven highest peaks of which he has already conquered three; Argentina's Aconcagua, Tanzania's Kilimanjaro and Russia's Elbrus.

Pictured above is TT icon, and head of Bushy's Brewery, Martin Brunnschweiler, handing over a cheque for £200 to John to go towards his amazing mission.
