MGP Success

Twenty four year old Barry Davidson is aiming to
continue Ireland's domination of the Manx Grand Prix Newcomers event this
year.
Barry is the raining Irish Lightweight Support Class Champion, and
at twenty-four, is one of Road Racing's much needed up and coming stars of the
future. He will be backed in 2001 the Royal Hotel from Cookstown who supported
the late Gary Dynes last season. They will provide him with both 250cc and
125cc Honda machines, however, he will only ride the 250cc bike at the Manx, in
the Lightweight Newcomers, and Lightweight proper.
In addition to the
his Manx Grand Prix efforts, Barry will contest a full season in Ireland on the
roads and circuits, plus the Southern 100 in July, where he has already ridden
twice before.
