The singer, whose hits include the classic Brown-Eyed Girl, is set to appear at an outdoor show at the Villa Marina, Douglas, on Sunday, June 3. Like the late racing star, killed last year after notching up 26 TT wins, the singer is from Northern Ireland. Tourism and Leisure Minister David Cretney said: 'The opportunity to have Van Morrison to do the Joey Dunlop tribute was discussed with Linda (Dunlop, Joey's widow) at Christmas or just before. She was supportive and he was very keen when we heard what we proposed to do.' Tickets for the concert go on sale soon.
