 Cream Nights for TT Fans

The Villa Marina is all set to come to life again over the TT period with two dance parties designed to really pull in the crowds. The legendary DJ Tall Paul will be headlining the first of Life Promotions' Double Life events, a Cream night on May 31.

Tall Paul was 1998's Muzik DJ of the year. He became a regular on the clubbing circuit and soon shot to mega-stardom through residencies at top name clubs like Trade and The Gallery.

He also plays regularly for Godskitchen, Gatecrasher, Sundissential and Cream. Tall Paul will be joined for the night by Andy Mansan, half of the duo behind Clockwork Orange. 'This is the biggest thing we have ever done,' said Jason Lowe of Life Promotions. 'Tall Paul is as big as Judge Jules. We've been trying to get him for 18 months. He is just amazing, this guy. 'This will be the last Cream do in the Isle of Man because the Villa Marina closes soon. After Double Life we have two more events to go before it closes.'

The second Double Life night on June 8 is part of the Golden superclub soundclash tour and will feature Golden's Dean Wilson and Matt Hardwick, of Gatecrasher.

Wilson plays deep-edged tribal house and trance and is a mainstay on the Cream tours. Hardwick is a weekly resident at Sheffield's Gatecrasher and headlined the club's worldwide Global Sound System tour.

Life residents Paul Hughes, Cam Crabtree, Alan Stacey, Chris Walker and Steve Butt will also be playing at both events. Jason explained the reasoning behind having two events so close together. 'We always sell out locally anyway so seeing as it's the TT period we thought we'd put two on and try and get some of the tourists in.

'Last year some of the bikers came over and wanted to go to a dance night but Judge Jules was sold out before they got here.'

Tickets for each night are £30 and the doors open at 8pm . There will be no admission after 10pm.
