Bill Star Helps Out With TT Film
|
Actor Eric Richard, best known for his role as
Sergeant Bob Cryer in police drama The Bill, has made
a five-minute public information video which will be
screened on Steam Packet vessels travelling to the
Island during festival fortnight.
The star has been visiting the TT since 1964 and for
the past three years has taken part in the classic
parade.
He was due to ride again this year.
Tourism and Leisure Minister David Cretney said: 'The
purpose of the video is to inform bike fans travelling
to the Isle of Man about what foot-and-mouth
restrictions are in place along with the dos and
don'ts of enjoying their time on the Island.
'There's also a rundown on the entertainment during
the fortnight and we want everyone who travels over to
enjoy their time at the festival and get the most out
of their holiday.'
The Agency commissioned DAM Product-ions to make the
video on behalf of the DTL.
It also features Island residents Sir Norman Wisdom
and celebrity chef Kevin Woodford.
