| Two-Day Trial OFF - MGP Next?
|
The annual Manx Two Day Trial has been called off
prompting fresh concern that the Manx Grand Prix could
be next.
The decision to cancel the popular event was made
after hearing expert information, from the Government
Vet, last week. The Two Day Trial was due to run on
the 25th and 26th of August - right in the middle of
Manx Grand Prix fortnight.
A six week disease free period is required for the
Manx Grand Prix to run, so a decision would almost
certainly need to be made by the end of this month at
the latest.
We have got everything crossed in hope that it gets
the green light, and the famous TT Mountain Circuit
gets to see some Road Racing in 2001.
