Manxman Tackles Tallin
Circuit |
|
Pal Hunt will be the first Manxman ever to race at
the Tallinn road circuit in Estonia this weekend.
The twice former
Centre champion set off over sea and land on the 1250 mile trip to Estonia on
Monday morning, together with main sponsor Kevin Cringle and the support crew
of Robbie Black and Chris Heyes.
With them are two bikes, the R1 Yamaha
Big H has ridden all season, and a brand new HRC kitted CBR600,
which he raced for the first time at Jurby last Sunday. |
The
tree-lined circuit, made infamous last year following the death of Joey Dunlop,
is over four miles in length and runs on closed roads on the outskirts of the
capital town.
Practising takes place today, Friday, with racing
tomorrow.
Also there is MGP regular Mark Parrett of Midhurst, who is
riding the Wilson & Collins 750 Kawasaki. Bike owner Des Collins flies out
tonight, together with former top local racer Ronnie Russell and ex-Andreas
Racing Association committee man Eddy Jury.
