UTV Champion of Champions Round 3
|
| | |
The windy and damp conditions could prevent the rider
putting a top class show at last night's third round
of the UTV Champion of Champions Series.
Marty Nutt was the 'Man of the Night' taking two wins,
a second and a third on his Suzuki's. Once again he
was pushed all the way be messes Archibald and Britton
pushing him all the way, both taking a win off the
flying Nutt.
James Courtney on his big Ducati continued his good
run of form taking a best finish of fourth, as did
Michael Laverty on the 500cc Honda and Manx rider
Richard 'Milky' Quayle having a fantastic night on
only his second appearance at Kirkistown with several
top six finishes on the night.

In the smaller classes that man Laverty showed his
class sharing the honours with Darran Lindsay over the
two races and in the Aprilia class, the unbeatable
Marshall Neill took two victories, which leaves him in
first place in the overall Champion of Champions
standings.
The action concludes tonight with some more fantastic
racing on the cards.
