David Jefferies and the V and M Racing Team will now
ride at this years Ulster Grand Prix, after originally
pulling out of the event due to lack of funds.
A deal has been made by the organising Colerain Club
and the Yamaha powered outfit, which will see the
multi TT, North West and Ulster Grand Prix winner
return to ride in the Superbike and 600 classes.
His original team mate, Scotsman Ian Duffus, will not
join him as part of the team, and will ride his own
Suzuki machine in the two Superbike classes.
This is a major boost for the two-day meeting, which
had been criticised by certain parts of the media for
the poor quality of the entry
