Cargo Back in the Saddle After Dundrod Spill
|
|
Self confessed Road Racing fanatic, Stephen 'Cargo'
Carr is set to ride again this year after recovering
from his spectacular crash at last years Dundrod 150.
Most of you will know Cargo from his postings on the
TT Website.com Message Board, and will know that he
has been sitting frustrated, waiting for the 2001 Road
Racing season to start.
|
|
He will get his first outing
at Dundalk towards the end of June followed by
Skerries a couple of weeks later.
However, his main aim is the Manx Grand Prix, which he
missed last year. He has entered the Junior and Ultra
Lightweight this time and will use his own CBR 600
Honda and ZXR 400 Kawasaki, which are run with a
distinctive yellow paint job.
Like many other Manx Grand Prix riders, Cargo is
desperately seeking a replica, and hopes to achieve
that this time out, whilst also hoping to put in a lap
of about 105mph on his 600 if possible. His other main
aim for 2001 is to not break any more arms!
When you're walking through the paddock at this years
Manx, don't forget to call in on Cargo for a bit of
craic, and meet one of Road Racings real characters
