| Beattie to Ride R6 in Junior Manx

Twenty two year old, Nigel Beattie will have his first
four-stroke ride at the Manx Grand Prix this year,
when he rides Alan Lund's R6 Yamaha, under the Team
Road and Track banner.
The talented Laxey man will have use of the machine
for the Junior race held on the Wednesday of race
week. Jason Griffiths is to ride the machine
throughout the year also, at meetings such as
Scarborough and Aberdare. The trick Yamaha, has been
fettled by ace tuners V&M Racing, and should be as
quick as any other 600 in the race.
Beattie will be back on his own 250cc Honda for the
Lightweight race, where he will start as one of the
favourites after finishing second last year.
