Ewan Hamilton hopes for better luck at 2001 MGP
|
|
Scottish Classic Racing regular, Ewan Hamilton is
looking for better luck at this years Manx Grand after
a disappointing 2000, where he recorded two DNF's.
The experienced Hamilton, from Aberdeen, has been one
of the main protagonists in the Lightweight Classic
Races in recent years, with his best result being a
second place in 1998.

|
During his Manx Grand Prix
career he has won a total of nine replicas. The ex Scottish Champion will ride in the Lightweight
Classic again this year on his 1967 T20 250cc Suzuki
where he will be hoping of at least a top six finish,
and adding to his collection of replicas.
He is supported in his Manx effort this year by Mr and
Mrs Twist from the Ashtead Hotel in the Isle of Man,
Mr C. Donockley who provides garage facilities and D D
Rose Joinery from Granton-on-Spey in Scotland.
