F1 technical spec - V Twin Mechanic - 19-08-2015 Where do I find the technical reg's for the F1 & F2 Classic TT, and does any body know the upper capacity limit for the F1 machines ?. Who said I hadn't read the rules? I merely said that I THINK the limit is 1200cc. Just because it's all there on page 24 of the supplementary regulations, doesn't mean that I haven't read them. I can't remember everything. In fact the MGP Office praised me for noting a contradiction in the Supplementary Regs and the Final Instructions yesterday, so I think I have read them. rc30alfie I think I have guessed that you are obviously perfect, sorry if I fail to meet your exacting standards. And yes VTwin mechanic, it's all there in the Regs. However I cannot see why stating that if you enter a major race meeting you should have read the rules thoroughly is wrong? Otherwise what is the point of issuing them?? RE: F1 technical spec - canamant - 20-08-2015 Creg - that's true, but the trouble with F1 technical regs was that they seemed to change depending on who was asking the question or who the question was being asked about !! RE: F1 technical spec - rc30alfie - 21-08-2015 Correct me if I wrong but I dont think the F1 rules for the Classic TT have altered since the first race in 2013. Basically they say its for motorcycles built 'using components available in the eligibility periods or manufactured after that date without substantial alteration' and 'where components are of later manufacture,they must resemble the original period components' Pre Dec 1986 1300cc 1987 to 1992 '750cc' I think that covers virtually anything you might want to build and/or race. Not strictly 'Classic' or correct in the historical sense but provides a great variation of machinery. Something that the TT lacks.
