Thank God for the TTwebsite.com and what's more it is free!! Re: Real Road Racing.com - Anonymous - 28-01-2004 Glad i aint the only one, heres me thinking pc gone wonky , hopefully it will be all systems go to-morrow. Worms - Anonymous - 28-01-2004 I've had several dodgy emails today, which were not from the people they said they were from, and they had an executable attachment. The message said the attachment was in Unicode, or that there was an error and a partial message was attached. I have deleted them all without opening the attachments and I advise you all to do the same. They can slip past your virus detector. Re: Real Road Racing.com - Anonymous - 28-01-2004 There is indeeed a nasty virus doing the rounds I've been sent it a number of times however it's now in my internet history temp file. I suspect RRR.com is where it came from. I will be checking for repairs and removers now. Re: Real Road Racing.com - Anonymous - 28-01-2004 Yes the standard advice still stands. DELETE ANYTHING THAT YOU DO NOT KNOW THE AUTHOR, NO MATTER HOW CONVINCING IT LOOKS. Also keep up-dating your Norton or what ever anti virus you use every day. Our company has very high security but these worms just sail through firewalls and anti virus software. I bet old Paul and Stephen have been having a few sleepless nights. Re: Real Road Racing.com - Anonymous - 28-01-2004 Yes, still no access to forum though ? cheers, Stella Re: Real Road Racing.com - Anonymous - 28-01-2004 www.cookstown100.co.uk has been having similar problems over the last week or so. the guy hosting the site one time said it was something to do with routers and dns, next time said it was omething to do with somebody uploading warez to the server. if it messes up much more, i'll be changing the host. it's up for now though. should have some interesting content on it by the weekend ;-) Re: Real Road Racing.com - Anonymous - 28-01-2004 Good work guys. Glad its back on the go again... Grant |
