1315 - Senior Manx Grand Prix. - Anonymous - 29-08-2003 Don't Miss It ! It should be a cracker. General Info - Anonymous - 29-08-2003 Mick Skene last years winner is on island and was spotted last night in the company of Russ Henley, poor Mick (only joking Russ). Appleton, McGuirk, Hill, Stuart, Sylvester, Heritage, Vernon all non-starters. Pattinson out on his 600, Lovat on a 600 Yamaha, Ward on a 600 Honda. Delayed Start - Anonymous - 29-08-2003 With a couple of minutes to go and everybody out with their lids on, a delay has been called, due to a loose dog out on the course. Geoff Cannell suggests a shotgun to take care of the problem !! Re: General Info - Anonymous - 29-08-2003 Hope russ was on his best behaviour Re: Delayed Start - Anonymous - 29-08-2003 This "loose dog", what's her name !!! Webcam gives the impression the conditions are spot on //??? Good ride to all competitors... Barney The Dog ! - Anonymous - 29-08-2003 Apparently a dog from the inside of the course at Kirk Michael called Barney is the cause of the delay. Police and manx radio are putting out appeals for anyone who can help with this fiasco. Re: General Info - Anonymous - 29-08-2003 Of course he was Gary, isn't he always :-) !!!!! Marshals Amusing Themselves - Anonymous - 29-08-2003 Reported that marshals at some unknow point on the circuit are taking bets on a spider climbing a telegraph pole !! Announcement - Anonymous - 29-08-2003 It has been announced that the race will go ahead at 14:30. Will this now mean that all dogs on the Island will have to have electronic locators fitted to them, or will all marshals have to learn how to hide behind trees and make a noise like a bone ?
