A rough year so far, we have lost Dan Kneen and now Steve is hurt, by all accounts pretty seriously.
I hope so sincerely that he pulls through in good shape and that whatever mistakes or event design flaws led to this are found because of it and keep others from being hurt by it.
When you see things like this, and that jerk the other day who purposefully went out on the track, you think about how much work has to go into making this race as safe as possible. These riders have all they can handle with the track, they don't need other things cropping up to cause danger where it doesn't need to be.
