Glen Helen - Last Lap - Anonymous - 05-06-2005 Archibald first through on the road, then comes McGuinness and it looks as if he is closing, then Finnegan some way back. Lougher through safely, Placings McGuinness (36.5) Archibald Finnegan Ramsey - Last Lap - Anonymous - 05-06-2005 Jun Maeda looks as if his dream of a top ten place will be realised - he is running in 9th place. Archi comes through very smoothly, McGuinness back on rails again through here, Finnegan comes through sideways, then Lougher follows a fair way back. John Crellin comes through safely, Peter Hounsell also safely through. Griffiths comes through, "Bud" Jackson still circulating safely. Martin and Heathc ome through, Placings McGuinness (35 secs) Archibald, Finnegan Lougher Finish Line - Anonymous - 05-06-2005 Anita Buxton retired at the end of lap 5 in the pits, however she managed to beat her previous best earlier in the race. First across the line is Archibald, then McGuinness doing a big wheelie (on Mac(d) Sunday), with a new race record (6 laps) Finnegan comes through to warm applause from the crowd, Placings.
