Doesn't sound right mate - with mine it said "too big" and something along the lines of "will automatically reduce the size". Maybe try going in via a different browser or computer?
How did you manage it? I've reduced my picture to 19.1kb but it still won't upload. Said something about file upload failed. I use IE - could that be the reason? Just because I thought I'd do an avatar this time...

I often think it is a shame some of the pics are a bit small and you cant click them up to have a better look at them , mind blowing some of them up to full screen could be frightening I suppose , present company excluded of course , lol

Have to say this is one of the best presented forum formats I have seen, well laid out and not cluttered up with popups, pop downs and other distracting junk.

Its funny reading everyones post and seeing the ' Junior Member' status next to familar names.
Its a bit like when you moved up from Infant School to Junior School ( do they still do that?) and all the faces are the same, but the building is different!
