RE: Future of TT Website - Yamaham - 27-09-2021 Jeezo, that sounds like a fair ordeal you've been through Malcolm. Glad you have a recovery plan in front of you and hope you get through it well. Mash is the food of champions! I'm sure you will soon have your strength back up and be flying through the physio work faster than Hicky over the mountain! Sounds positive anyway! Good luck and best wishes with your rehab! RE: Future of TT Website - Chris_Sav - 27-09-2021 Thanks for the update Malcolm, glad to hear you seem to be moving in the right direction. Chris RE: Future of TT Website - captainsparkledotcom - 27-09-2021 Hope everything goes well Malcolm. If you need an escape plan I'm taking our camper van (converted ambulance with ramps & wheelchair fastenings!) to Preston Peugeot on Blackpool road later, I can nip round & pick you up! RE: Future of TT Website - sprocket - 27-09-2021 Keep up the good work Malcolm and enjoy your mash and ice cream 😃 All the very best. RE: Future of TT Website - HammerHead - 27-09-2021 Good to hear the news is positive, albeit with a long road ahead. Best wishes continue to be sent. RE: Future of TT Website - bsa499 - 27-09-2021 The most salient words I can think of just now are these: Get Well Soon Malcolm! RE: Future of TT Website - Manxman78 - 27-09-2021 Thanks for the update Malcolm...... And it sound like you are getting the best medical care, good luck with your ongoing recovery. Best wishes to you. RE: Future of TT Website - bud62 - 27-09-2021 Get well soon Malcolm. RE: Future of TT Website - Malcolm - 08-10-2021 Hi Folks, Just to let you know that I am still here in Preston Royal and now feeling so much better after my Surgery. I am still in Rehab here as the Half Way Rehabilitation Hospital in St Annes does not have bed for me yet. I have to say that the two Sugeons who operated on me have done a fabulous job, and they are more than pleased with the results so far. I have an appointment with them at 16:00 hrs today, and I hope to find out more on what their plans are for me. I know that I will have to come back in for a couple of days further down the line, for an overall check on progress and to carry out a reversible item of surgery, carried out during the initial Theatre visit. Still on a lot of painkillers, but got rid of the Morphine a day or two back. Generally I am feeling much, much better, and now I have to get up on my feet and prove that I can walk with stability etc A way to go yet, but all positive so far. Many thanks for all the messages, it really is appreciated. Malcolm. RE: Future of TT Website - captainsparkledotcom - 08-10-2021 That's good to hear Malcolm, onwards & upwards, as they say! All the best to you. My van just spent a week (at the main dealers) in Preston, it's just the same now as it was when it went in, they don't know what's wrong with it!!! My wallet's much lighter though! RE: Future of TT Website - Manxman78 - 08-10-2021 Hi Malcolm, thanks for the update on your recovery, sounds like things are progressing steadily for you, hope this continues, good luck with your recovery progress and get well soon.
