It's not Crosby - think back to places where we were allowed to stand/sit and now we're not.........not Nick but there is a nice side-story involving Mr Splashdown when my mate won the Senior MGP, give you another clue - he won the Senior MGP on a TZ350

I reversed engineered this one - Gordon Farmer? Can’t say I know anything about him but if nothing else, nice to be able to educate myself on another mountain course star regardless.

Excellent work Ian - it is indeed Gordon Farmer, the machine is pretty special if you fancy digging around for info....Gordie won the 1982 Senior MGP on a TZ350(some results state Suzuki for some reason) and crossed the line with literally no fuel left and apparently there was a possibility of a protest - Gordie still speaks very well of Nick Splashdown who was 3rd and having none of the protest thing telling the officials that Gordie had won it fair n square..

Thank you. It’s nice to hear all these back stories. You page thru results etc and it doesn’t even scratch the surface of someone’s career.

Thanks Ian - no probs. This is the fab machine Bonhams : The ex-works, NCR, Sports Motor Cycles, Roger Nicholls, Isle of Man TT Formula 1,1977 Ducati 905cc Production Racing Motorcycle Frame no. 014 read through and you'll see Gordie mentioned.
