I can almost make out his name on the fairing or I would be absolutely clueless. Is it Danila Krasniuk? If so, is he special as the first Russian to compete in MGP?

Damn - I should take blurrier pictures! It is Danila Krasniuk and as far as I know, he is the first Russian to compete on the Mountain Course. This would also make him the fastest Russian too. (The two guys that competed in the TT - was it late 80s? - were Estonian and don't count!)

It is QB but not from the balcony. I was heading back to the car to get on the boat and just shot a handful of pics through the wire fence in front of the pub. Trick of perspective with a long lens I guess.
