Take care Re: Congradulations David Griffiths - Anonymous - 22-06-2002 Just as long as you're not oversize David . . . Well done!! Re: Congradulations David Griffiths - Anonymous - 23-06-2002 Well done...so much for all the modesty...we knew you could do it! Re: Congradulations David Griffiths - Anonymous - 23-06-2002 Thank you, although I was a bit disappointed with my time. I had a lot of problems with cramp over the last 10 miles which cost me a lot of time. For anyone who doesn't know, the Parish Walk is the largest participant sporting event on the Isle of Man, with an incredible 967 entries this year. A record 63 competitors made it round the full 85 mile course this time - heroes/heroines all ! Re: Congradulations David Griffiths - Anonymous - 23-06-2002 Yes Well done David.I was out watching the finishers coming in till about 6am today,so I slept most of the day, seeing as I'd been up since 4am on Saturday. You're right ,they are hero/heroines all.You were one yourself the other year!!! On a racing theme, big Dave Chambers did very well finishing in 4th place.I saw him finish and he was in better shape than I was.Dave was 4th in the 1992 Lightweight Newcomers Manx GP on a 400 Yamaha, in a race won by James Courtney. Re: Congradulations David Griffiths - Anonymous - 23-06-2002 Any news on John Crellin? Did he do it all? Re: Congradulations David Griffiths - Anonymous - 24-06-2002 John walked to Peel, in a time of just over 7 hours. |
