Who is this (No 3) - Malcolm - 13-05-2011

OK, so here's another photograph from times gone by that perhaps one or two of you may well know who the two persons are.

Does anyone have any further information on the photograph, who, where, when etc ...

On the left, an absolute gentleman (and a bloody good rider in his day!) - Albert Moule

On the right - not sure . . . . . . . . .

I'd just realised my mistake, Pat, but you beat me to it . . . . . .

Screwed up a bit there Larry, Yep Fred was a true gentleman, riders liason office, a could publish more information in his TT Special within hours of a race day or practive finish, pages and pages of it and photos, than todays useless lot in spote of all their tachnology could produce in a month, OH forgot everything about the TT is secret these days unless you pay through the nose for it

RE: Who is this (No 3) - ian huntly - 13-05-2011

I took this photograph at the annual TT Supporters Dinner in the Villiers Hotel Isle of Man...
There used to be a big turnout at these Dinners and at one I won, by auction, a big mirror with a Joey Dunlop line overlay made of coloured glass. Everyone at the Dinner signed the back for me and I still have it hung up above my phone table.

Fred took over the TT Special and I have quite a collection of them.....They came out not long after the practice/race finished and we would queue up outside the shops below Villa Marina to get ouir copies straight off the presses. They were still damp!!!

Roy has been and still is a very competive sidecar racer.. Just like his Dad was !
