Donninton on TV - Anonymous - 14-07-2002 I settled down at lunchtime to watch the GP at Donnington on telly but it was so brilliant i fell asleep, thank god for real road racing. Re: Donninton on TV - Anonymous - 14-07-2002 I went out to the garden, and did the weeding. Much more exciting.! Re: Donninton on TV - Anonymous - 14-07-2002 It is not as bad as F1 Car racing--yet ! After a mighty lunch with wine etc, I too drifted off and it wasn't old age causing it !! What is happening to sport---It is all getting acutely boring..........Is it all "scripted" ?? It is a great pity that Scarborough is not televised. It would be perfect TV--A small version of the TT is it not ?? Re: Donninton on TV - Anonymous - 14-07-2002 Or some of the fantastic action from the Southern 100....125 race, for example. Anything with Ian Lougher in it...the sidecars.....oops, I think that means all the racing! Well, it was all brilliant. Re: Donninton on TV - Anonymous - 14-07-2002 Scarborough- what dates do they race there, then? Re: Donninton on TV - Anonymous - 14-07-2002 Admittedley the Moto GP race was a bit of a snooze, but the 125 and 250 races were excellent from flag to flag. Re: Donninton on TV - Anonymous - 14-07-2002 Snooze is an understatment it did nothing for our sport,tv cameras get real and televise real road racing EG;SKERRIES and SCARBOROUGH. Re: Donninton on TV - Anonymous - 15-07-2002 60,000 fans turned up...mustn't be that bad.road racing on TV isn't that great either, very passes either or close racing. Re: Donninton on TV - Anonymous - 15-07-2002 Mr Smith use a proper email address and i might reply otherwise post some SENSE. Re: Donninton on TV - Anonymous - 16-07-2002 pykey 60,000 fans turned up at Donnington,so some people like short circuit racing.I've seen plenty of road races that were strung out and very dull. The email address is real,so that should help make sense of my message. Re: Donninton on TV - Anonymous - 16-07-2002 Must say I have liked your recent postings. Nice to have you in those circumstances. We are a friendly lot really, but we don't like being p****d about! Re: Donninton on TV - Anonymous - 16-07-2002 Witch i'm not Peeing about..just putting the other view to Pykey's GP rant. Pykey needs to "chill" I reckon. Re: Donninton on TV - Anonymous - 16-07-2002 People are reacting to your previous style, Jim. Current stuff not peeing about. You Scottish? Re: Donninton on TV / WSB at Laguna Seca - Anonymous - 16-07-2002 Been busy so haven`t been on too much recently but apparently the atmosphere at Donington was the best its been in yrs and 60,000+ cannot all be wrong ? However did any off you stay up to watch the WSB`s at Laguna Seca it was Fantastic...and has got me packing my bags for WSB`s at Brands !!! please let the sunshine like last weekend..... cheers Stella. Re: Donninton on TV / WSB at Laguna Seca - Anonymous - 16-07-2002 PS Here is the "G" for Donington !! Re: Donninton on TV - Anonymous - 16-07-2002 He's not Scottish. He's just depressed. Re: Donninton on TV / WSB at Laguna Seca - Anonymous - 16-07-2002 Stella Your a sensible voice on here...racing doesn't have to be on the roads to be good.Best racing I have seen this year has been on the Irish Short Circuits and recent BSB racing, really good. |
