FIM announce changes to 2012 MotoGP calendar - Malcolm - 15-12-2011 The FIM has released an announcement citing changes to the 2012 MotoGP schedule, including the naming of Sachsenring as host to the German Grand Prix. The FIM announced changes to the MotoGP World Championship 2012 provisional calendar, which include a change of date for the opening round in Qatar, the confirmation of the Jerez circuit contract plus the designation of Sachsenring as the circuit to host the Grand Prix of Germany (pending confirmation of the contract).
