BELT DRIVE IN TT ? - Anonymous - 05-11-2002 I promise that this is my last posting for a while, albeit brief, but can anyone tell me if there has recently (in the last 30 years) been a race bike in the TT with BELT DRIVE-- I have notes which categorically state that there was intent to enter a one-off with a belt drive but I have no follow up on this-- Please help someone Re: BELT DRIVE IN TT ? - Anonymous - 06-11-2002 The Britten had belt drive. One to each bank of camshafts. I understand they broke one or two during the 1993 TT. Does this help? Oscar.
