Realroadracing.com reports that Richard Britton is without a ride for the 2003 season. This just reflects th state of the sport in Ireland today. Richard is a great ambassador for Irish motorcycle racing, won countless races at Irelands highest level including NW200. Whenon televison he is always smiling and obviously enjoys what he does and the support he gets.
Come on Ireland do not let this star fall by the sid of th race track.

He's a real folk hero in Ireland as well. I was at York Corner for the final race of the North West 200 this year, and I'll never forget the reaction of the crowd when Richard came through in the lead with 2 laps to go following the retirements of Rutter and Lougher - it was absolute bedlam !
I sincerely hope he gets sorted for next season - he deserves it.
