TT racer Conor Cummins has appeared in a new on-line film highlighting the spectacular new grandstand 'Fanzones' that will be in place for the 2012 Isle of Man TT Races fuelled by Monster Energy. In the film, which can also be viewed via iomtt.com, Conor talks about the five remote locations - Crosby, Rhencullen, Ballacrye, Ginger Hall and the Creg Ny Baa - and describes what spectators will be able to see from the elevated positions at each. He points out that at Crosby riders are 'flat out on the tank' and describes it as 'a great place to watch', Rhencullen is 'tricky to get right', while Ballacrye, where Conor watched as a child, is a 'fast 170mph approach with an awesome corner.' Conor also highlights the 'fast sweeping left' that spectators will see at Ginger Hall and finishes at the final grandstand - the 'world famous' Creg Ny Baa - extolling the virtues of the food and drink and the welcome that fans can expect. The main Grandstand on Glencrutchery Road has already completely sold out for race week while the remaining Grandstands have sold up to 75% of their capacity on some days and are several are also expected to have sold out by the start of race week. Commenting on the new Grandstands, Conor said: "Apart from the view behind the handlebars which can't be beaten, these grandstands are the next best thing. The elevated positions will give fans unrivalled views of the riders at critical points in the race and the spectacular locations are all really fast points and put fans close to the action." As well as a temporary grandstand, each with around 200 seats, each of the five locations will also feature catering and toilet facilities, free parking and enhanced PA systems relaying the Manx Radio TT live race commentary.
