Double 2012 TT winners Dave Molyneux and Patrick Farrance head a quality entry in the Sidecar races at the forthcoming Steve Henshaw International Gold Cup Road Races being held on Saturday and Sunday 15th & 16th September at Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough.

With 16 Sidecar TT victories to his credit, Dave Molyneux, the Manx man is the fourth most successful Sidecar driver at Oliver’s Mount with 17 wins to his tally at present, the most recent, a clean sweep of four wins out of four at the 2010 Cock o’the North Road Races.

Moly’s main rival at the picturesque North Yorkshire circuit will be Ian Bell who now has his son Carl in the chair as passenger. Ian tops the list at Oliver’s Mount with no less than 45 race wins to his credit, first maiden sidecar race victory back in 1994 in the second leg of the Formula 2 race at the Gold Cup meeting.

Setting the rivalry aside between the Manxie and the Northumbrian other serious contenders for the threewheel honours at the feature meeting of the year at Oliver’s Mount include three other long time enthusiast supporters of the Auto 66 organisers, Conrad Harrison and Lee Patterson; Tony Thirkell and Nigel Barlow and Greg Lambert, who has yet to name his ballast for the weekend.
