Creechurch Capital; the boutique fund manager has announced the sponsorship of high-profile fundraiser, Hizzy’s Honour. The event will be held during TT week at the Royal Hall, Villa Marina in honour of the late Steve Hislop.

This summer will mark the tenth anniversary of the passing of the former British Superbike champion and 11-times winner of the Isle of Man TT Steve Hislop, who is known as Hizzy.

To celebrate Steve's life and contribution to the world of motorsport, Steve’s former partner Kelly Bailey and their two sons Aaron and Connor were determined to arrange something special in memory of their father.

In association with Creechurch Capital, the family will be holding a charity evening on Tuesday 4th June. The evening will include a panel of TT Riders, past and present, who will take part in a half-hour Q&A session, along with an auction of motorsport memorabilia. The night will also include a raffle and music from a number of local bands.

The evening will be raising money for two local charities that Steve supported during his years of motor racing, the IOM Hyperbaric Chamber and the MGP Helicopter Fund (MGP Supporters Club IOM). Both charities support the riders of the TT and MGP ensuring that their recovery and rehabilitation are of the best possible standard.

Kelly Bailey, who is organising the event on behalf of her sons Aaron and Connor said:-

”Without the help of the Hyperbaric Chamber and the MGP Helicopter Fund, many riders would not be here today. A lot of hard work and effort has gone into organising this event and with the help of our sponsor Creechurch Capital; we can make it a fitting tribute to Steve.”

Stewart Quayle, business development manager at Creechurch added:-

“We are delighted to support Kelly, Aaron and Connor to make this fantastic evening a huge success. We are very proud of the Isle of Man and its contribution to motorsport and the fundraiser will celebrate this and Hizzy’s legacy.

“We are absolutely committed to supporting the local community and this event provides much-needed support to two important charities on the island”.

Tickets for the evening are priced at £20 and can be purchased by visiting the Isle of Man Government’s website.

There are a small number of VIP tables left, which can be purchased directly from Kelly on 07624 220220.
