Centurion Racing Endorse Help For Heroes - Malcolm - 26-05-2013

Centurion Racing get their 2013 Isle of Man TT underway this week with Dan Cooper aiming to continue the success gained for the Cornwall-based team in recent years on The Island and following a successful 2013 Vauxhall International North West 200.

For a number of seasons now, Centurion Racing has supported Help for Heroes which has become their chosen charity and have been conspicuous by displaying H4H logos on the bikes as well as the team attire.

Following the tragic events in Woolwich last Wednesday which saw the senseless murder of Drummer Lee Rigby of the 2nd Battalion the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, who at the time was showing his support for the Help for Heroes charity, Centurion Racing will honour his memory at this year's TT by raising both the profile of the charity as well as raising funds.

Team Principal Paul Rees spent 20 years in Her Majesty's Royal Marine Commandos and was given permission to have the bikes carry the H4H logos in order to encourage the public to be more aware of this charity that supports our Armed Forces, many of whom are making sacrifices in both this country and abroad.

Dan Cooper and the Centurion Racing Team will be proudly displaying the Help for Heroes logos at this year's TT Races.

Paul Rees, Team Principal:

"For 2013, we have all the team attire, bikes and the race truck in new livery with H4H (Help for Heroes) logos so are very proud to 'fly the flag' for them at the Isle of Man TT again this year, especially in light of what tragically happened in London last week to Drummer Lee Rigby. Our thoughts and sympathies are with his friends and family and we will happily accept donations on behalf of Help for Heroes in the paddock at the Grandstand and we also have various H4H merchandise available."

Centurion Racing would specially like to thank Arai, FTR, GPR Racewear, Dunlop, RichArt, R2 Logo Print & Embroidery, Akrapovic, SW Commercials, 2K Coachworks, Fuchs Silkolene and Daytona for personally supporting Dan, and all our friends and followers
