Yoshimura Suzuki's Takuya Tsuda, Nobu Aoki and Josh Brookes finished second in today's Suzuka 8-Hour World Endurance Championship race in Japan as Team Kagayama, which included former World 500cc GP Champion Kevin Schwantz, Yukio Kagayama and Nori Haga, put their GSX-R1000 on the third step of the podium.
And making it three Suzuki GSX-R1000s in the top four of the race - won by Musashi RT HARC Pro's Takumi Takahashi, Leon Haslam and young 20-year-old Dutchman Michael Van Der Mark - was reigning World Endurance Champions Suzuki Endurance Racing Team (SERT) with Vincent Philippe, Anthony Delhalle and Julien Da Costa taking the lead in the series after two rounds.
