Just made it !! and a very happy birthday from the east coast of Bonnie Scotland too. No rabbits here but well behaved tropical fish and Muscles my Aquatic Frog who must be 10yrs old by now at least !!!

I have noticed in the last couple of years, a number of motorcyclists with rabbit ears sticking out of their helmets...however, yesterday morning, I saw The White Rabbit, riding pillion on a bike in Edinburgh. Rabbits are clearly taking over the motorcycling world....

That reminds me to tell you that my third cousin ( twice distant), Algernon, has been on a mission with Edgar Jessop in Mesopotamia where he saw you friend, Jim. He reports that all is well. They are rushing back so that Edgar take part in the TT, anonymously, as is his custom. Although Algernon might be a bit conspicuous as he has taken to wearing a kafiyeh. He fancies that he looks like Algernon of Arabia LOL!

Good grief! This must be the surprise Jim was talking about. I better check with Gail to make sure we have a spare room for the great man. He can keep his plimsolls in the shed.
The last communication I had from Edgar was, enigmatically, in Arabic, so, apart from an oblique reference to Turkish Delight, I was stumped...maybe he was asking for lodgings.

I would just like to say Gail, congratulations on your amazing feat at catching that almighty slide coming out of the start -finish chicane at the North West 200, both feet off the pegs and one hand off the bars- Randy Mamola would have been proud, please come back to Ulster (what about the Ulster in August- Dundrod is a mega circuit!)and all the best.
