Scarborough 2003 - Anonymous - 21-06-2003 Daniel Sayle from the Sulby Glen Hotel and Gregg Lambert have teamed up again and come in first at the Scarborough meeting today. Good times 12 secs. win. Re: Scarborough 2003 - Anonymous - 21-06-2003 Just heard they have won the second Sidecar event as well with a 7 sec lead. Well Done. Re: Scarborough 2003 - Anonymous - 21-06-2003 You must feel quietly proud,Rosie.Well done team Re: Scarborough 2003 - Anonymous - 21-06-2003 very proud, I thought about posting this message, you know, blowing your own trumpet and all that. but he has done what a lot of people only dream about and done it well. It is one of those rare moments when you can be proud to say you are his Mum. Re: Scarborough 2003 - Anonymous - 22-06-2003 Great news Rosie! Pass on congrats from Mike and Pamela. I dont believe that your pride in your son is THAT scarce! Mike Re: Scarborough 2003 - Anonymous - 22-06-2003 Second days racing, was just as good, they came in 1st in each of the two races, one by a 19 sec lead. Older brother Matthew did his first race at Jurby with Nigel Smith and came in 4th in three out of 4 races. I am really proud of all of them, but I'm not sure my nerves would stand it if all 8 of them took up racing. Re: Scarborough 2003 - Anonymous - 22-06-2003 Congrats Rosie, just returned from Scarborough, they were quick and safe through all sections,on a track that is so narrow ,it makes Sulby straight look like a 4 lane motorway.2 good days racing ,normal suspects had their wins ,my man of meeting,GUY MARTIN well done .CHEERS BARNESIE. Re: Scarborough 2003 - Anonymous - 22-06-2003 Don't be quietly proud, Rosie...be loudly and joyously proud. I thought he looked really good at the TT, and it was lovely to watch him later, celebrating. He doesn't know me, so I spied a bit!! Hope to see you S100 time! |
