Helen: Condelences (the witch) - Anonymous - 09-07-2003 We received sad news today that Helen has lost her father, it was only mid January, Helen lost her dear Mum also. Bless them both I'm sure they've found each other again and are now happy in a more peaceful place. We were sorry that Helen was called away to see her very ill father, when she was so looking forward to the racing at the Billown circuit for the Southern 100 races. Tonight I achieved something I'm very proud of being lapped ONLY once again the more powerful 250 two strokes ! Last year as a newcomer they zapped me twice ! This one was for you Helen ! Roll on Thursday ! The real race ! See you soon Helen. Salt of the Earth. If you could get away from Mr & Mrs Gibson without accepting a cup of tea, you must have been Houdini. Thankyou - Anonymous - 09-07-2003 Thankyou all for your kind words which are most appreciated. My mum passed away suddenly but peacefully this afternoon after a long illness. She also shared a keen interet in our sport, going to watch when my brother, neil (munro) who also raced and was so proud of all he achieved especially at the Manx GP.Then again when her beloved grandsons started racing too. Although she never managed to see the boys race she was surrounded by there pictures which she proudly displayed to all. thanks, Stella. Re: our thoughts to helen and now stella - Anonymous - 10-07-2003 Dear Helen and Stella, condolences and sympathy. Although I lost my dad 21 years ago, my mother passed away in May this year (almost 95yrs). I look back and am very thankful for the good start in life they gave me and for tolerating my bikes and me messing up the kitchen sink. Don't worry Helen, we won't let the authorities put you in an orphanage. Chris maybury Thank you to you all - Anonymous - 10-07-2003 This has been a thoroughly horrible year, and not just for Stella and me. Without the support of all of you, I don't know how I would have coped, and you constantly amaze me with your compassion and love. Thank you all very much. |
