Replacing Jamie Hamilton, as reported on here at the end of December:- http://www.ttwebsite.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=18538 Not sure about Derek Sheils though. There's been absolutely nothing about any of his plans for 2015. At this late stage (for BSB) could he be looking at retirement I wonder? I thought it was Bruce riding the Mugen not Ian, have I missed something or is it a typo? RE: Who is riding what. - Malcolm - 14-02-2015 TT Related Chat Has a posting titled - "Team Mugen to compete at TT 2015" This posting states quite clearly :- "For this year, we will continue with John McGuinness and Bruce Anstey as our riders, and will strive to win our second championship in a row". As that comes straight from the horses mouth so to speak, I think the typo from RoadRacingNews can be discounted. Malcolm RE: Who is riding what. - Ken37.73 - 14-02-2015 Does anyone know what Peter Hickman is doing ? I don't know what he is doing for the TT, but for the Classic TT there is a posting under the Manx & Classic Section http://www.ttwebsite.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=18772 Where he has been signed up by Mistral Racing alongside Steve Mercer and Jamie Coward on ZXR 750's His own website:- "An announcement on Hickman’s British Superbike and Road Racing plans is set to be announced shortly". I'm really looking forward to seeing PH in his 2nd year and all the better for his being at the TT on the bike he'll ride every week. Also it's great to see Keith Amor back on the big bikes. Awesome bike rider to watch. RE: Who is riding what. - gixxertim - 26-02-2015 ^^^ Peter Hickman does look the real deal doesn't he I'm wondering what start number he will get RE: Who is riding what. - eman1948 - 26-02-2015 Tremendous lap time but was it a safe lap? From a comment I read somewhere Josh Brookes was not that safe doing his quick lap. Sooner them doing quick laps after 2 or 3 years but safe ones. Just my opinion. RE: Who is riding what. - gixxertim - 26-02-2015 His debut reminds me of Steve Platers, built it up through the week then set the newcomers record, the rest as they say is history but correct me if I'm wrong PH is starting his TT career 10 years sooner *edit and as for brooks that R1 handled like a pig on meth |
