I feel so sad at hearing this terrible news.
I found Gary to be crackin fella, who always had time around the paddock for everyone.
Heartfelt condolences are extended to Lisa, his daughter Amy and the family, and in addition all of the many close friends of Gary at this very sad time.

Gary always seemed a warm person to me to talk to and he always had time to chat to anyone, I will miss that big smile of his every time he took his helmet off, what a nice guy that will be missed, RIP Gary.

The Island’s motorcycling community is in shock following the death of one of its most experienced road racers.
Gary Carswell was killed in an incident during a practice session at Jurby Motodrome on Saturday.
The TT podium finisher and former Senior Manx Grand Prix winner was 46.
Hundreds of tributes to Gary have been posted on the Manx Radio TT Facebook page.
Manx Radio TT commentator Dave Christian had known him for many years and says he was a popular figure in the paddock
