Breakfast & dinner advice - yamxj6 - 26-05-2015 Hi everyone, Hope you are all set for this years TT races. I certainly am. Can you please advise where you would recommend for A/ Good places for breakfast in or close to Douglas. B/ Good restaurants in Douglas for dinner. Steakhouses, Indian's & Italian's. C/ Good restaurants outside Douglas for dinner. By good, I mean decent quality, pub grub type food, not fancy fine dining rubbish. D/ Best places to watch the racing. I'm on a bike so can travel around. I have watched at the following places but would like to go somewhere different for a change. Bray Hill, Quarter Bridge, Bradden Bridge, Ballaugh Bridge, Ramsey, Gooseneck, The Creg, Hillberry, The Grandstand, Conker Trees & possibly a few others which I will remember later. Thanks in advance. RE: Breakfast & dinner advice - Superbike - 27-05-2015 The Buttery in Duke street do a great fry up, the Italian job is fab as well. Looks like you have been to some great viewing points, what about sulby or around the 11th mile stone. I like Hillberry on the bank just before the grandstand easy to get to and fast. RE: Breakfast & dinner advice - Stroller - 27-05-2015 You have to go to The Caff at least once..... open early to late, bottom of Lord Street in Douglas RE: Breakfast & dinner advice - Steady the Edward - 27-05-2015 Only once Stroller ?? that's mean , lol . RE: Breakfast & dinner advice - Baldy Gaz - 28-05-2015 What time does the buttery open in the mornings? Just in case the caff is packed when we get off the boat. |
