Heartbroken?! Come on Kyp: get a grip (!). It's certainly bad luck, right enough, but it's all part & parcel of the racing game. I'm sure Guy isn't about to crumble because of today's setback, and if he does - then frankly it'll be time to hang up his leathers & concentrate his efforts on the variety of other passions he has.

I suspect his chances in the Senior, at least of a win, were not great anyway and I'd pretty much write them off (he'll not beat MD on a BMW and there are several others out of his reach).
Superstock? Don't see it (again, largely the MD factor), so it's all down to the Supersport, on which today's lack of laps/data should have negligible impact (different bikes and teams).

Agreed. He keeps saying the bikes are spot on. Said the same about the zukis last year too.
But with Hutchy, Bruce and MD on fire, his chances of a podium are slim let alone his chances for a win. I would love to see him get one though, or he'll go down as history as one of the great riders that never made it to the top step.

I'm a bit disappointed in those Tyco BMWs, they certainly aren't showing the same sort of dominance expected

The top bikes (apart from the new R1 - oh,that wasn't a top bike), are putting out more horsepower than they need, so they're all dominant in terms of power; the trick is in making that power useable around the course. He who does that is dominant - just like Padgetts Valvoline, and Bruce.
