Just read that Gary was off at Guthries but is OK.
Its a fast place to step off so I imagine he's a bit sore.
Can't have done his confidence any good.
Hopefully he's good for the rest of the week.

Probably feeling a bit better now he's found out that he got a top 6 all the same.
Report says there were two incidents at Guthries - wonder if there was any common factor.

Not sure what result you are looking at Sam, only riders still on board at red flag classed as finishers, and after top 6 had finshed before red flag the rest credited with their 5 laps position.

Usually MD is a shoe in for the 'TT stupidest statement' award but I reckon GJ has set the bar unattainably this high year.

Gary ran wide at Guthries, clipped the edge/banking on the left, and then laid it down. Fast-ish place, however he was fine.
