Ballyclare’s Jamie Hamilton is now in a stable condition in hospital in Liverpool after a high-speed crash at the Isle of Man TT.
The 24-year-old has been brought out of sedation at the Aintree University Hospital.
Hamilton sustained serious head, arm and leg injuries after crashing on John Burrows’ Suzuki in the feature Senior race last Friday - the final event of the 2015 festival.
He had earlier finished in fifth place in the Lightweight race and posted his fastest ever TT lap in excess of 128mph from a standing start in the Senior before his accident.
