Ronnie Nisbet, Sidecar racer - Anonymous - 21-09-2003
Did Ronnie Nisbet ever do a Sidecar TT?
He was from the Edinburgh area and teamed up with ex Jim Peters passenger Gordon McIntosh around 1981 doing the Scottish circuits.
Anyone know of his whereabouts? If so can you let him know I'm looking for info for the book?

Yes know him well ! Alex used to help sponsor him. He runs his own plant hire in Kirknewton <A HREF="http://www.nisbetofkirknewton.com">www.nisbetofkirknewton.com</A>. He still comes to some of the big meetings at knockhill. Not seen as much of him since his son had a bad accident racing solo`s in the supersport class a few years ago and had to retire.Lovely family.Hope this helps ?

Ronnie is one of the nicest guys around. Still very interested in sidecar racing and you'll see him at most meetings. If you have trouble contacting him, let me know.

As far as I know, Jake, Ronnie Nisbet never started a TT.
Not sure if or not he ever entered one . . . .!
