South-westerly winds will be mainly moderate to fresh but occasionally strong in exposed locations, temperatures reaching a high of 17 or 18 Celsius with the breeze making it feel cool.

Mostly dry this evening and overnight, just perhaps an isolated shower.

Session Update

Only classic bikes out on Thursday evening

Festival of Motorcycling organisers have issued an update about this evening’s practice session, which has had to be revamped because of this week’s bad weather.

So far, every one of the four practices held have been called off or finished early because of poor weather and incidents on the course.

It’s led to worry among organisers about how race newcomers will notch up enough laps to qualify.

Manx Radio’s sports editor Tim Glover has the details of Thursday evening’s practice schedule: - HERE
