TT 2016 Predictions - DBD 34 - 06-01-2016 So, now we are on the right side of winter who do you reckon will finish where on the rostrums this year? RE: TT 2016 Predictions - Smidsy - 06-01-2016 I was useless last year, absolutely useless. So will play it safe and add mine after the NW if I can. Goes without saying it doesn't matter though as long as all finish safely. RE: TT 2016 Predictions - ago/mh1967 - 06-01-2016 I`m predicting that the first three will be on the rostrum..... RE: TT 2016 Predictions - DBD 34 - 10-01-2016 Right, let's get this rolling! Superbike (F1) 1) Michael Dunlop. 2) Ian Hutchinson 3) Bruce Anstey Sidecar A 1) Birchalls 2) Molyneux 3) Bennett RE: TT 2016 Predictions - Tripster1050 - 10-01-2016 Not going to make a prediction but would like to see Peter Hickman on the podium this year RE: TT 2016 Predictions - Sam Pato - 11-01-2016 Assuming they both show up in full fitness and on machinery they are happy with (i.e not like 2015) - I reckon the battles between Hutchy and MD will be titanic. I've been a close observer since the early 90's and I can't think of another time when two blokes who are prepared to risk everything were going head to head since the Foggy and Hislop races. In an equal fight I think that Hutchy will usually have his machinery at at slightly higher standard than Michael - but its only 1%'ers. So for the SB and Senior; Hutchy MD McG / Anstey Hickman is the dark horse but I think he's maybe a year away from the sort of extreme pace that'll be needed to win. Bruce is too inconsistent on the big bikes and McG has a more measured approach (just leans a bit towards the old rather than bold - which is why he's such a class act). No exactly controversial I know but there it is. Can't wait Cheers Sam RE: TT 2016 Predictions - Smidsy - 11-01-2016 (10-01-2016, 09:44 PM)Tripster1050 Wrote: Not going to make a prediction but would like to see Peter Hickman on the podium this year I'd second that I'd love to see Hicky keep progressing a podium in his third year is possible and would (IMHO) be fantastic. What about the possibility of both Hutchy & MD on the same big bike? RE: TT 2016 Predictions - chris - 12-01-2016 I can't see Hutchy & MD on the same bike unless it is a Sidecar, but I know what you mean. I think 1) Hutchy 2) McG 3) Conor Cummings. 4) MD. 5) Guy Martin. 6)Hckman. RE: TT 2016 Predictions - Sam Pato - 12-01-2016 On the basis of nothing at all I don't see Hutchy and MD both at TAS this year. I don't think MD likes that sort of set up. I'd have thought there's a very good chance they'll be on the same brand of machine though. Sam RE: TT 2016 Predictions - HammerHead - 13-01-2016 I usually leave my predictions to the last minute when you see form in the lead up to the TT and in practice. I'd love to see Hicky get himself a podium this year, but on different machinery than his last two visits there may be a bit more of a learning curve yet. RE: TT 2016 Predictions - Sam Pato - 17-05-2016 Anyone else prepared to risk their forum reputation on a bold prediction? Its less than two weeks to practice and its fair to say there's more life in a tramps vest. Sam RE: TT 2016 Predictions - STEVEVTR - 17-05-2016 I will go for Twins, Ivan Lintin Sidecars, The Birchalls Zero, Anstey ,just for a change And Hutchy for everything else. RE: TT 2016 Predictions - Sam Pato - 17-05-2016 Hadn't thought too hard about the chairs. I reckon Moly and Sayle will be hard to beat but reliability is always an issue. Race A Reeves Race B Moly Overall Birchalls Hows that for hedging your bets? It'll be tight at the top for sure. If anyone is less than 100% they'll have Ian Bell / John Holden / Conrad Harrison or a number of others breathing down their necks. Sam RE: TT 2016 Predictions - maybolezx12r - 18-05-2016 Here's mine for this year.............. Superbike Race 1 -MD,Hutchy,Bruce Sidecar Race 1-Birchalls Supersport Race 1-Hutchy,Lee,Bruce Superstock Race 1-MD,Hutchy,Bruce Sipersport Race 2-Lee,Hutchy,Gary Johnston Lightweight-Ivan,Dan Cooper,James Cowton TT Zero-McGuinness Sidecar Race 2-Birchalls Senior-MD,McGuinness,Bruce RE: TT 2016 Predictions - Azman - 19-05-2016 Not going to predict any order, but going down bookies today to place bet on Hickman getting a Podium.... in any race. RE: TT 2016 Predictions - Sam Pato - 20-05-2016 Can you tell me who you are betting with? Wouldn't mind a little flutter myself. Wonder what the odds are for 3 (or even 4) wins in a week. Cheers Sam RE: TT 2016 Predictions - Woffy - 20-05-2016 Superbike - Michael Dunlop Sidecar 1 - Birchalls Supersport 1 - Lee Johnston Superstock - Bruce Anstey Supersport 2 - Hutchy Lightweight - Ivan Lintin Sidecar 2 - Birchalls Senior - Michael Dunlop RE: TT 2016 Predictions - AntG - 22-05-2016 Superbike: MD Sidecar 1: Birchalls Supersport 1: Hutchy Superstock MD Supersport 2: Gary Johnson Lightweight: Hickman Sidecar 2: Birchalls Senior: MD RE: TT 2016 Predictions - L1v32R1d3 - 24-05-2016 I can't really predict each race but I'm thinking Hicky and Lee Johnston might take their first TT wins this year. Lot's of good riders out there. Never count Hutchy out, especially with the new BMW outfit. Let's hope MD does a better job than last year. |
