Have just received the sad news that "Esso" died late last night, peacefully.
God rest him.

When you receive sad news, it makes me look round and take stock of what I have got. Esso was such a delightful man, and I am very sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences to Irene. Another great character gone who cannot be replaced.

Such a lovely man, I am deeply saddened that yet another TT regular will no longer grace the event.
