Race organisers say there were no issues with top three

TT bosses have released a statement following a tense final podium press conference on Friday.

During it, Ian Hutchinson suggested Senior Race winner Michael Dunlop had spread rumours 48 hours earlier.

Those rumours related to Hutchinson's team supposedly using oversized pistons in Wednesday's Supersport race - which the Bingley Bullet won.

However, during the post-race inspection, the pistons on the top three machines were all found to comply with regulations.

ACU Events Ltd says there were no issues with any of the podium finishers in that [Supersport 2] race.

The top three all had scrutineers carry out technical inspections on their bikes but it was found none breached TT regulations.

Hutchinson's comments regarding the Dunlop have been addressed by organisers.

The statement says no team or competitor lodged an official protest.
